Street parking is available near the intersection of S. 5th and Tredegar Streets, then take the adjacent concrete bridge to Brown’s Island. Keep walking, and on your right, you’ll see stairs and a ramp that lead to the bridge. Cross under the train trestle and you’ll find us in an alcove on the left. Please arrive a few minutes early if possible!

Trevor and Katie met each other at a launch party for a bike advocacy group at Ardent Craft Ales in Scott’s Addition on May 28th, 2015 through two mutual friends, Jason Roop and Brandi Levine. They both did a literal double take at each other and Trevor schemed a plan to get everyone to go out to dinner so they could keep talking to one another. You could say it was love at first sight.

Over the next year and a half, as they dated off and on, Katie and Trevor were brought together in a number of situations that can only be described as fate and will have a great story to tell their kids and grandkids one day. As they dated, they also became best friends and fell completely in love with one another.

On October 20th, 2016, Trevor got Katie’s best friend Sophia to invite her to Ardent Craft Ales under the guise of a work happy hour, where Trevor played a video compilation from local TV and radio personalities announcing their engagement as though it were breaking news. He then popped out and proposed.
